A pedestrian accident happens when a car collides with a human being walking or standing on the road. In collisions of this nature, the pedestrian often suffers severe or catastrophic injuries. These wounds include broken bone, head injuries, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, etc.
When auto-pedestrian crashes happen, it is crucial to know the at-fault party. This is because the driver of the vehicle is not always the person who caused the collision. The pedestrian can also be at fault. For example, a pedestrian who jaywalks and gets hit will be at fault for the crash.
When the fault party has been identified, the victim can get compensation. Receiving a settlement is easier when you work with a Georgia car accident lawyer. Contact Calvin Smith Law today to learn how we can help you.
