This past Sunday night, the police responded to a head-on collision in Atlanta on Old National Highway. It was about 11 pm on Sunday, April 26 when the cops arrived at the crash scene.
The reports confirm that 34-year old Ashley Ross, originally from Tennessee, was driving Southbound on Old National Highway. She was driving her Nissan Sentra when she hit a curb. She lost control of her vehicle and ended up crossing into oncoming traffic. Her vehicle hit a Ford Focus that was traveling in the Northbound lanes of the highway. The name of the person driving the Ford Focus has not yet been released.
The man driving the Ford only suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene. He did not require hospitalization and is expected to be fine. Unfortunately, the woman driving the Sentra was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. She did pass away the following day from her injuries.
The woman driving the Sentra is reality star Ashley Ross. She has starred in a show called “Little Women Atlanta” since 2016. The show is aired on the Lifetime Network. It is a reality show that follows a group of female dwarfs around the city of Atlanta. Ross, who is known as Ms. Minnie on the show, was one of the more popular characters.
Originally, the reports said that Ross had been the victim of a hit and run. The police have confirmed that this was not the case. There were only two cars involved in the crash and nobody fled the scene.
Ashley Ross’ publicist has asked that the public give her family privacy at this time. The investigation is ongoing, but the cops did state that they don’t believe alcohol or drugs played a factor at all.
