A male driver lost his life after a solo car crash in Bibb County, on I-75. The crash happened early Sunday night, July 25th. The cause of the accident remains unknown at the time of this report.
However, in a press release by the Sheriff’s Office, the investigators revealed that the solo car crash in Bibb County happened around 7:56 p.m. on Interstate 75 near Hardeman Avenue. The sheriff’s office said the 31-year-old man was heading north when he went off the roadway and hit a guardrail. It happened just after the Hardeman Avenue exit.
When deputies arrived at the crash site, they found the man partially ejected from the vehicle. Medics transported him to Atrium Navicent Health, where he passed away from his injuries. No one else sustained injuries from the crash, and the sheriff’s office had not informed the next of kin at the time of the release.
