A vehicle collision in Austell left two drivers with different degrees of injuries. In a press release by Cobb County officials on Monday, December 14th, they disclosed that the crash took place around 4:11 a.m. on Thursday, December 10th.
It occurred precisely on C.H. James Parkway at Humphries Hill Road. The release stated that investigators with the Cobb County Police Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP) responded at the crash site for preliminary investigation.
The officers uncovered that a gold 2006 Infiniti G35 traveled northbound on C.H. James Parkway before turning onto Humphries. Simultaneously, a 2017 Toyota RAV4 was heading south on C.H. The second vehicle then struck the first one for unknown reasons.
The Infiniti driver, identified as 30-year-old Kahlil Harper of Powder Springs, sustained life-threatening injuries. Medics conveyed her to Kennestone Hospital for treatment. The Toyota driver, 60-year-old Jeffery Nelson, of Dallas, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and received treatment at Cobb General Hospital.
