Salah Kamille Harrell was born and raised in Douglas, Georgia. She attended Georgia Southern University for her undergraduate degree and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Political Science. In 2015, Salah began attending Howard University School of Law, where she received her Juris Doctor in May 2018.
While in law school, Salah advocated for low-income individuals representing parents and guardians accused of neglect and abuse as a student attorney in the Child Welfare Clinic. Salah also interned at the Environmental Protection Agency during her second year of law school where she assisted attorneys with research in environmental justice. During her law school tenure, Salah served as Fundraising Chair of her legal fraternity, Phi Alpha Delta.
Salah joined W. Calvin Smith II P.C. as an associate in May 2019. Salah is a member of good standing with the State Bar of Georgia. Salah is also a member of the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys and Gate City Bar Association. In her spare time, Salah enjoys working out, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
