Daniel Johnson was originally from Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, but grew up in Auburn, Alabama. Daniel attended Auburn University receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology, with a minor in Chemistry, Biology, and Spanish. Daniel would go on and pursue a master’s degree in psychology before moving to California to attend law school.
While in law school, Daniel interned with the San Diego County Public Defender’s Office. As a third-year law student, Daniel would arraign defendants as well as argue motions in court. After completing law school in 2005, Daniel returned to the southeast, moving to Atlanta. Daniel initially started work with a general practice firm, where he practiced criminal law, family law, and personal injury. Later, Daniel would join a firm that focused exclusively on bankruptcy law. Daniel started his own general practice prior to Joining W. Calvin Smith, II, P.C., Daniel has practiced exclusively in personal injury and workers’ compensation law since joining W. Calvin Smith, II, P.C.
