Amberly Nicole Grier was born and raised in Lithonia, Georgia. She attended the University of West Georgia for her undergraduate degree and graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Criminology in 2016. In 2016, Amberly began attending Georgia State College of Law, where she received her Juris Doctor in May 2019.
While in law school, Amberly externed at the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation in the Safe Families Office, where she proudly advocated for victims of domestic violence. Amberly gained vast practical experience as a student attorney at the Philip C. Cook Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic, where she resolved taxpayer disputes with the Internal Revenue Service.
Amberly joined W. Calvin Smith II, P.C. as an associate attorney, and her practice focuses primarily in personal injury and workers’ compensation. Amberly is a member of good standing of the State Bar of Georgia. In her spare time, Amberly enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
