Shaun Tarell Moore was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Lithonia, Georgia. He attended Georgia State University for his undergraduate degree, and graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Pre-Law. In 2014, Shaun then attended Georgia State University College of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor in May 2017 with Pro Bono Honors with the highest distinction of over 150 hours.
While in law school, Shaun interned at the DeKalb County Public Defender’s Office where he proudly advocated for and provided legal counsel to minors in the Juvenile Court Division. Shaun would later further his legal experience as a legal aide at a tier 1 Atlanta metropolitan firm in personal injury litigation, assisting senior attorneys and partners in wrongful death and premises liability cases. Also during law school, Shaun served as a Full Time 3L Senator in the Student Bar Association and as a College of Law Liaison to GSU’s Student Government Association, where he represented his Class on a variety of campus related issues.
In his spare time, Shaun enjoys spending time with his family, music, going to Atlanta Falcons’ games, and traveling.
Shaun joined W. Calvin Smith II, P.C. as an associate attorney and his practice focuses primarily in personal injury and workers’ compensation. Shaun is a member of good standing of the State Bar of Georgia, and is admitted to practice before the Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the State of Georgia.
