Paul A. Dietrick, Esq.

Paul is an accomplished Senior Litigation Attorney with over four decades of
experience, specializing in civil trial law across State, Federal, and Georgia Appellate
Courts. Paul has demonstrated expertise in managing high-stakes cases, leading
litigation departments, and mentoring young lawyers.

Paul has a proven record of success in securing millions of dollars in settlements and
verdicts, with a strong focus on holding negligent parties accountable. With
approximately 150 jury trials and hundreds of mediations and arbitrations under his belt,
Paul has a history of consistently achieving favorable outcomes in complex cases,
including automobile, motorcycle, and trucking accidents, landowner liability, slip and
fall, defective products, negligent security, and medical/legal liability cases.

Paul attended the University of Tennessee and obtained a BS degree in Business
Administration. Paul next attended the Emory University School of Law program. Upon
graduation Paul was mentored by Judge Paul T. O’Conner after which Paul co-founded
a mid-sized litigation firm, where he practiced for 25 years. Since then Paul worked as
a consultant to multiple litigation firms until proudly accepting a position with the W.
Calvin Smith Law Firm’s Atlanta, Georgia office.

Paul and Holly, his wife of 41 years, are active tennis players, competing with USTA and
ALTA, in the mid-levels. Paul and Holly are also “backpackers” who have traversed
multiple regional trails, including the 110 mile Georgia Appalachian Trail. Paul and Holly
are fortunate to have their two grown daughters and two grandchildren living within
blocks and have “the grand girls” visit frequently.
